On 14 September 2026, in Hanoi, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) was honoured by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) with the prestigious title of “Education Partner of Excellence” at the celebration marking 25 years of ACCA’s presence and development in Vietnam. The recognition acknowledges the achievements of the partnership between PTIT and ACCA, while reaffirming the Institute’s commitment to advancing finance and accounting education through digital technology and internationally recognised professional standards.
Celebrating a Partnership and Advancing Educational Excellence
Throughout its partnership with ACCA, PTIT has progressively implemented a range of practical initiatives to enhance educational quality and broaden students’ access to internationally recognised professional qualifications. These initiatives include the introduction of ACCA preparatory classes in 2019, the establishment of a Computer-Based Examination (CBE) Centre in 2023, and the development of a High-Quality Accounting Programme incorporating internationally aligned curriculum content.
In recognition of these efforts and achievements, ACCA presented PTIT with the title of “Education Partner of Excellence”. At the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Tran Quang Anh, Vice President of PTIT, received the commemorative trophy on behalf of the Institute and extended his congratulations to ACCA Vietnam on its 25th anniversary.

This distinction not only recognises PTIT’s contributions to educational collaboration with ACCA but also marks a significant milestone, further motivating the Institute to pursue educational innovation, enhance programme quality, and strengthen its integration with international professional standards.
Strengthening Collaboration in Finance and Accounting Education in the Digital Era
On the sidelines of the event, Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Viet Duc, Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting 1, held discussions with Helen Brand OBE, ACCA’s Chief Executive, and Ren Varma, ACCA’s Director for Mainland Southeast Asia, on future directions for collaboration between the two institutions.
The discussions focused on the profound transformation of the finance and accounting profession driven by the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI), data and digital technologies; increasingly demanding requirements for transparency, governance and sustainability; and the need to equip finance and accounting professionals with new competencies to thrive in the digital economy.
With its strengths in education and research across information technology, telecommunications, artificial intelligence and digital transformation, PTIT is well positioned to integrate technological expertise into finance and accounting education aligned with international professional standards. This approach is essential to equipping students not only with sound disciplinary knowledge but also with the ability to apply technology, leverage data and utilise digital tools in professional practice.
Building on the achievements of their existing partnership, PTIT and ACCA aim to further expand their collaboration in education and training, strengthen the professional capabilities of academic staff, enhance access to international professional standards, and create more opportunities for students to pursue further learning and career development.
Advancing the Development of High-Quality Finance and Accounting Professionals
Being recognised by ACCA as an “Education Partner of Excellence” marks an important milestone in PTIT’s efforts to develop modern, internationally oriented finance and accounting programmes that are closely aligned with the practical needs of the labour market. The distinction also creates new opportunities for collaboration, fostering greater integration of finance and accounting knowledge, technology and global professional standards.
Through its strengthened partnership with ACCA, PTIT continues to pursue its mission of developing high-quality graduates with strong professional foundations, digital competencies, innovative thinking and the ability to adapt to international working environments. In doing so, the Institute contributes to meeting the demand for skilled professionals in the evolving finance and accounting sector and supports Vietnam’s digital transformation and sustainable economic development.
